Paul, Caroline, Paul and Mary welcome you to The Rose in June, a vibrant, friendly and family-orientated community local pub achieving “Community Pub Hero of the Year” for both 2012, 2013 & 2014. We pride ourselves on serving at least 5 Real Ales at all times, details of which can be found on our Ale Notes page. We also have 2 guest ales each weekend, and for details of those you will have to come in and find out! We are proud to be in the Good Beer Guide and are Cask Marque accredited.
We hold two annual Beerfests, a winter one on the last weekend of February and a charity summer one on the last weekend of June which also includes country dancing and folk singing in the garden throughout the weekend. More details of this can be found on our Beerfest page.
For families we have a large garden with adventure play area and BBQ, and for special events such as wedding breakfast, charity events and company or private parties a marquee can be hired at very competitive rates. For more formal events and meetings we also have a function room where a bar and food is available on request.
Within 15 minute walk from Portsmouth Football club we offer a warm welcome to both home and away supporters. Dogs and their well behaved owners are more than welcome.
