The Cornish Bakery
We are officially recognised as World Champion pasty bakers thanks to our Cornish Bakery ‘Traditional’ steak winning the 2013 World Championships at the Eden Project. However we come from a long Cornish lineage. Working with our founder Steve Grocutt, a butcher’s wife in Mevagissey baked the first traditional Cornish Bakery pasty in the first ever store. It was an immediate winner with the knowing local crowd who are always the hardest to please. As time goes on we are continually mixing that Mevagissey tradition with proper Cornish innovation, with Steve leading us on to our creative mix of World Champion status recipes and fine quality produce across the UK.
